What I stand for

I choose to stand for justice and hope. In so many situations and circumstances that are deprived of justice and hope I will seek to add these things to the best of my ability. In all situations I will try my best to go forward with an attitude that desires to give rather than take. I will pursue humor and laughter and joy and happiness, and will seek to bring the same to others.

    Hi Travis,

I want to igknowledge your strength and dedication in dealing with this "minor" setback. I am confident that you will overcome this obstacle and rise again to any occasion. Stay positive, give it to God, he knows best. The road will not be easy and you will get discouraged at times but this is were all your hard work will pay off. I am confident you can do it.

To Colleen - I told you "we" check on your baby's progress. A "mother's love" has NO boundaries. Stay strong. Happy Holidays to the Stovall-Hearn Family, especially you, Travis!!

  13. Hey Travis, my name is Derek Felix I am currently a 17 year old senior. I was injured September 23, 2005 playing Varsity football. My injury was also a C-4 spinal cord injury, so I can relate to what your going through right now. Our injuries are very rough and not something that gets better over night. But the fact that your a football player tells me you will fight through this and never give up no matter what boundaries step in your way! And even though it seems like things will never be better, I PROMISE you they will.
Always in my prayers, much love Derek.

  14. I stand to create, instead of destroy. I stand to support those in chasing their dreams. I stand to encourage hope of those who have to overcome hurdles to get what they want. I stand by those who have to make sacrafices. I stand with Travis.

  15. I choose to pray constantly for mothers as we ask God's angels to always watch over our "little ones" even when they are grown! God has "loaned" them to us and He is always in controll and works everything for good...Travis, you have had an amazing impact on this community and nation! I lift youup daily to God and pray constantly for your mom and family!

    Travis,

Hang in there!!! As a family with 2 growing boys we see the miracles that one can do when they set their mind to do great things!!! We hope, wish and ARE PRAYING HARD that God helps you mount on wings, and push ahead to bigger and better things. We wish you continued strength and health and that even the doctors will say that they are amazed at the strength you are gaining each and every day!!!! We are expecting to hear great things in the coming year.

To Travis' Mom, From one Mom's heart to another, I pray that God continues to make you strong in spirit and in heart as you cheer your son on.. I wish you the best and that you experience love from even the farthest four corners of the world.

They told him he would never have the use of his upper body agian, They were wrong he does, he has about 75% use of it, never give up. Keep fighting God works in many ways.

  22. Galatians 6:9...Never Quit! Sometimes a person may never know God's secret of why things happen to them. Our plans are not always God's plans. We in Springfield, Illinois and Sacred Heart-Griffin "Football Nation" are praying for you. Be Positive! Speak Positive! You will be healed! Remember this, "Tough times never last, Tough people do!"
